Katie and Laura Maher, Owners

Kentucky became home for Katie & Laura in 2013 when Laura’s career guided them from eastern Washington state to Richmond. As transplants, they quickly fell in love with the small-town charm and hospitality that was shared with them.

While both of their education and early career experiences were in environmental chemistry and analytical science, they have evolved into various roles priming them for business ownership. Laura has worked in large scale commercial construction in both quality and engineering roles, but her most recent experience is in a cost and scheduling function. Katie’s experience in customer service management in both the airline and wine industries gave them opportunities to travel the world and enjoy amazing wine!

Their combined experience and ambition align perfectly with the ecomaids business allowing them to utilize their skill sets to bring the highest quality cleaning to clients so they can enjoy the cleanest version of the home they love.

Katie and Laura have two daughters who inspire them daily to be strong, healthy, make a positive impact, and have FUN! You can often find them playing at the soccer fields, on the basketball court, hiking around the beautiful Kentucky trails, trying a new restaurant, or teaching their dog, Gabby the Goldendoodle some fun new tricks.

Their business is their passion—providing clients with a clean, safe, and healthy home while also providing a great work culture and experience for their incredible team.
