Who We Are

After working for the same company for a combined fifty-eight years, Dave Burns and Michele Snyder lost their jobs in 2020 due to company downsizing.  They decided for their next adventure they would start their own business – ecomaids of Northfield-Hudson-North Royalton.

They were immediately drawn to ecomaids, because it was in the service industry and based on their use of eco-friendly products.  Dave and Michele really enjoy making new connections and having the opportunity to impact their community.

Both Dave and Michele have lived in NE Ohio their entire lives.  Dave moved to the Cleveland area from Youngstown after college. Dave attended YSU and has a degree in chemistry. Michele has lived in the Northfield-Hudson-North Royalton area her entire life. Michele attended   Akron U, has a legal secretary degree and is a Notary Public.

Dave was a Director of R&D for a manufacturing company for 36 years.  Michele worked at the same company for 22 years as a Corporate Administrative Assistant.  They met while working together, started dating, and got married.  They have a daughter Nicole who lives in Chicago and is working as a Director of an Early Childhood Education.  They also have a dog named Rupert, a Chihuahua / Japanese Chin mix.  Their favorite thing about the area is that it is filled with good, hard working, family-oriented people. “Caring for our community and our employees’ health is our top priority.”

The Northfield-Hudson-North Royalton area has a lot of family-oriented neighborhoods and the Cleveland Metro Park System is excellent for hiking and biking.  Other points of interest include The Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Brandywine Falls, Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Area, Chagrin Falls Waterfall, and the downtown area.

In their free time Dave enjoys golfing, bicycling, gardening, and other outdoor activities.  Michele enjoys decorating, gardening, playing games, playing the piano, and house projects.  They both enjoy entertaining family and friends at their house. They also support local charities such as Hattie Larlham, Providence House, Habitat for Humanity, and Goodwill.
