One Tree Planted

ecomaids of Portland has partnered with One Tree Planted who planted over 50 million trees in 2022, restoring old-growth forests and empowering rural smallholder farmers.  For every Initial Service sold, ecomaids will plant one tree.

While we have always committed to sustainability with eco-friendly products, waste reduction, and conservation, it’s great to have another way to give back and help the environment.”

Planting trees is consistently identified as one of the best ways to combat the damaging effects of climate change. Trees help to clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat for over 80 percent of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity. Trees also provide lasting social impact by providing jobs to over 1.6 billion people, empowering women in underdeveloped nations, and supporting communities that are devastated by environmental damage.

The partnership is designed to be a simple way for customers to give back and get involved in global reforestation. For every Initial Service sold, the company will give $1 to One Tree Planted to plant one tree. The trees are planted by local partner organizations and community volunteers in areas where deforestation has occurred.
