- Every team member is eligible to work in the United States. We only hire people who are legally permitted to work in the USA. We never want to jeopardize the trust you place in us or risk our reputation.

- Leave a key for us in a specific location

An Initial Service Visit (ISV) is a more detailed cleaning and is designed to bring your home up to our professional green cleaning standards by removing dust, grease and other debris that may have collected around your home. An ISV is performed as an initial cleaning but may also be performed if too much time lapses between cleanings due to the additional buildup. A Recurring Service Visit (RSV) is a cleaning visit for homes that we service on a regular basis. RSV are lower in cost because we are able to regularly maintain our professional green cleaning standards. There is no set standard for how often you should be cleaning your home. However, the most popular option is bi-weekly, which is one visit every 2 weeks. This schedule works for most to manage kitchen spills, floor dust, and other high traffic areas where dirt quickly accumulates. Too long between cleanings means that food and other organic particles will harden and become more difficult to remove, leading to a worn appearance and possible infestations. Regular cleaning visits by ecomaids will help prevent such outcomes and keep your house sparkling. Of course, there are some busy lifestyles and special needs that may require more attention. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your ecomaids experience, simply contact us and let us know. We will return to reclean the area promptly and ensure your expectations are met.
Our teams dispatch early each morning, and every evening we confirm our routes and prepare our vehicles and equipment for the next day. To maintain efficiency and in consideration of our employees’ schedules, we require at least two business days’ notice for all cancellations. For example, a Monday appointment would need to be canceled no later than the Thursday before.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a cleaning for any reason, simply call or email your local ecomaids office. Cancellations received on the business day prior to the scheduled date of service are subject to a cancellation charge. Cancellation charges vary by location. Contact your local ecomaids’ office for additional details on cancellation charges that may be incurred without proper notice. If we do not receive any notice of a cancellation or if we are unable to gain access to your home, we reserve the right to charge the full amount of the scheduled cleaning service.

Conventional products can be corrosive to surfaces and can even burn your eyes and skin. We are happy to take over from a prior service; we know you’ll appreciate our consistency, reliability, and integrity. The first visit to your home may still need an Initial Service to get all surfaces to meet our baseline, but that depends on the quality and frequency of your former service. If you’ve had a thorough service within the last month and you feel there is little dirt and build up, we should be able to start at a regular maintenance level with just a little added time to get familiar with your property. During your first visit, the team will assess if they need extra time.
Please ensure your pets are secure on cleaning day, and make sure we know if you have any cats that like to escape! If you are 100% sure your pet will be friendly to strangers coming in, just let us know and our team is happy to greet them and give some love! Please also let us know about pet allergies because we carry organic dog treats to help put them at ease! If you are unsure of how your dog will react with strangers coming in, we ask that you do retain them in a kennel or a separate room for while you cannot be there to ensure it.
Not at all. Most clients provide a safe and changeable garage or door code. As long as you have prearranged access for us, you don’t have to be there. Our technicians are used to cleaning in all kinds of settings. Clients may be working from home, or gone for the day, or coming and going. It is our policy to announce ourselves upon entry, and to lock any exterior doors we use upon exit.
Once you are set up on a recurring service, we assign a team. We try to maintain familiarity by always keeping at least 1 or 2 of the same people every visit, but sometimes this is not possible. Some team members only work part-time or have personal needs that come up.

We price your home based on the cleaning frequency you choose. Skipping your regular cleanings will increase the level of traffic and dirt that builds up, which means we’ll require more time to bring your home back to our professional standards and may require a higher priced level of service. This does not apply if your home won’t be in use for a period of time, like during a vacation, just make sure to give our office advance notice.
