Training and Certification

Owner and employee training is a critical aspect of green cleaning that also contributes to maintaining a professional workforce with higher employee retention. All of our ECOMAIDS Truly–Green residential cleaning service providers are fully–trained experts in green cleaning. All ECOMAIDS employees are in training for a minimum of their first 30 days of employment. Upon hiring, all ECOMAIDS cleaning personnel undergo initial training in the following areas:

  • Green Cleaning Standard Operating Procedures
  • Proper Performance and Sequencing of Cleaning Procedures
  • Chemical Handling, Application, and Dispensing Systems
  • Maintenance of Tools and Equipment
  • Proper Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Standard Safety and OSHA Training
  • Advanced Field Training

All ECOMAIDS owners, managers, and employees also receive eight (8) hours of continuing education and/or training on an annual basis in order to maintain knowledge of the correct procedures for safety, tools, and techniques. Annual training addresses changes in the field relates to new technologies and changes in environmental standards. Continuing education and training for owners, managers, and employees concentrate on procedural updates for green cleaning, changes in dilution control systems, and proper use and maintenance of cleaning tools and equipment.
